Tangless threaded insert--- UNFfree-running series

Tangless threaded inserts are in line with the NAS1130 and NASM8846 standard requirements, they have been listed in NASM8846 for insert procurement standards, design benchmark for  choicing Tangless threaded inserts for military project. The paragraph 6.3.1 in NASM8846 standard pointed out:” The choice for threaded inserts with tang or tangless,depends on the purpose ”.

According to the NASM122076 and NASM124651 series (standard thread) and NASM21209 thread (lock thread), tangless threaded insert specially designed for replacing threaded insert with tang. Insert can be installed into STI standard thread hole according to request of NASM33537. After installed, the insert can provide fine thread which accord with the requirements of the FED - STD - H28/2 and support the use for standard bolts, screws (MIL - s - 7742), or UNJ (MIL - s - 8879).
